THE NOBLE ONES By Daniel Patrick Tinsley

Summary on Back Cover:

On the surface, Aidan's life seems no different from any other young man living during the waning years of the 18th century; he has a charming girlfriend, a thriving clock shop, and a sizable stretch of land. While repairing his late father's pocket watch, he deciphers a hidden message that unlocks the truth of his lineage and plunges him into a world filled with malevolent mysticism. Aidan's journey takes him through enchanted forests, across sprawling country sides, and into the underbelly of corrupt cities where he battles political adversaries who will stop at nothing to maintain the status quo.

I received The Noble Ones from a Goodreads giveaway and I have to say the summary on the back of this book does not do it justice. I really enjoyed the story behind the Noble Ones and the ending...WOW!! I hope this means there is going to be a #2. The Noble Ones is very fast paced and I couldn't flip the pages fast enough. If the kids weren't home for summer break it would have definitely been a 2 or 3 day read for me. I was pleasantly surprised throughout the book. The Dark Knight, total shocker when his identity was revealed. Daniel Tinsley has a way of drawing you in and making you cheer some of his characters on, as well as, wish for the deaths of others. I highly recommend The Noble Ones and am hoping this isn't the end of Aidan and Quillan. This is definitely an author you should check-out.

Enjoy and I hope you become as Over Booked as I am
